Honestly, I know fighting isn't good and stuff but seriously dude if your nephew gave one of them boys a good punch in the lips he will be left alone for good, probably even crowned. It's the fact that he (for lack of a better word) cowers away that makes them want to keep doing it. Knowing he won't fight back they will continue to bully him, but if he catches them off guard and one gets a bloody nose he will be king

If he knows tai chi (not what he's being taught), he'd able to disable them PEACEFULLY as they try to raise a hand / push him, and it would look pretty effortless.

Buuut, he's not being taught real tai chi from an internal master.

It seems like you should homeschool him.

This is sadly not an option as I have clearly stated in other pages of this thread.

What are your qualifications for teaching an eastern internal martial art?
Do you even know the principles of Tai Chi Quan?
Also why are you preaching / trying to teach your nephew Taoist philosophy/arts, those are against your belief systems IIRC.
He'd be able to defend himself with Tai Chi if you knew what you were doing/teaching (he wouldn't even have to make an effort to defend himself if you knew what you were actually teaching).

e: if you really knew tai chi quan and applied its principles in real life you wouldn't be having any health issues, and your nephew wouldn't be getting bullied.

e: Rick Ross wouldn't survive in jail lol.

Calm down sir, I am not a master or claiming to be one. I have only tried to teach him what I know. I am more of a beginner at Tai Chi and only know some moves. I never claimed to be good at it.

So enough with these Tai Chi related subjects of you CLEARLY trying to make me look foolish for whatever reason.

I learned Tai Chi when I was young and can only remember a few moves which I should my nephew, and yes it is against my beliefs because men should never put their hands on women.

Which is why I have clearly stated it is against my beliefs.

And who are you to criticize me or my nephew? How about give advice instead of questioning me. With all due respect.

Not an option as aforementioned previously above and on other pages.

The issue here is it is GIRLS who are bullying him more then the guys do. Guys bully him but the females are the majority and plethora of the children who do it to him and kick me when I shield him from any of their nonsense when I am picking him up from school. I don't need to see any body getting a bloody nose, I never raised my nephew to ever hit women let alone bloody them. He is to never put his hands on them.

As I previously aforementioned in my statement in response to you in the above quote which is on this same post that you are now reading if you get to this. I am not a master and only know a little bit of Tai Chi which I have taught my nephew, well at least tried to any way. And putting your hands on anyone is required in self defense, what do you expect him to just make him use the wind to fend them off? And even that would consist of possibly bringing harm to these female children. I must not ever allow such things to occur while I am one of his legal guardians. My nephew is like the son I never had and most likely will never have, I raise him the proper way. Never to hit girls. And never to resort to violence either.

If you were able to successfully teach him Tai Chi then he would be able to keep his ground, and his center rooted into the earth, yet remain formless at the same time so no physical attack would push/hurt him and he'd be able to neutralize his opponent's force into the earth.

You're teaching him empty movements with no energy, principle, and concepts behind it.

Every tai chi move has a fighting application, which yeah you won't use or let him use, but your nephew can neutralize his opponent's force into the ground without damaging or hurting anybody.

Take him to learn some real external martial arts if you can't properly teach him internal martial arts properly (hsing yi, bagua, taichi).

I understand that and I as I have said am not a master and just more of a beginner. And regardless what you are saying would require him to put his hands on the females which will not be occuring as long as he is an Overmyer.

At least teach him to build a strong foundation and a center that his opponent can't find, that's the basic of internal martial arts, he can neutralize a push/hit without hitting back, just using technique...lol

You shouldn't teach people things that you're a beginner in, and what I'm saying won't require him laying hands on anybody.
