No, you think you make it more simple by adding a parentheses but in fact, you're changing the whole equation.
By adding your parantheses you first divide 6/2 which equals 3 and then (1+2) which is why you get 3x3 = 9
However, that's not how you interpret it, like I said, it's already showed on a picture at page 65 (post #648) how to really interpret it.
But that isn't how you would interpret it. For the 80th time, the ÷ isn't a fraction bar.
