Don't know the guy so I expect what I would expect from any man with a modicum of honour or decency.

Ignore Czech, he is just a delusional liberal man. His sense of liberalism is based on diluted perceptions cause from some sort of psychological trauma.

Interesting

what i said is correct but obviously ignorant to the bigger picture, which i was provoking from mr.inlovewiththekhan here

also ur dumb af in all topics so wtf u talking about kek

'interesting' is not an apology and it is infantile to suggest I'm in love with Kublai. I am in love with history and I relish the chance to educate one who is ignorant to the value of knowing it.

I chose Kublai as a name randomly. It could easily have been many others from Cicero through Æthelstan to Charlemaigne or any of the Plantagenets.

E/ now that I think of it Cicero would have been excellent for a discussion forum.

No, what you said is blatantly incorrect, because it ignores a century-long dynasty that is such common knowledge that there's literally a joke about it in Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure.

I'm not exactly sure why you take words so seroiusly as to dissect them to their direct definition in a forum. Also, don't think that I said that out of spite rather than just being slightly playful.
I am not one who is ignorant to the value of knowing history.
I am actually quite intriuged with the past, especially it's literature, whether it be fictional or non-fictional, both contain their own truth of the time. I'm an English major who focuses in literary studies. I am currently a senior.

The Khan originated from nomadic warring tribes. What they ended up in the end has nothing to do with whether what I said was right or wrong. Don't try to google shit you probably don't know to overturn me in a stupid way. Also wtf are Ted's adventures.

I take it back. You're not capable of being educated.

Carry on in your ignorance and slander. I want little more to do with such an unctuous plebeian. Especially one who cannot admit or recognise when he is at fault or have the decency to offer an apology when proven to be so.

I'm not sure why I should apologize in any way since I never insulted you or knowledge, you simply jumped to that conclusion on your own?

Except what you actually said was:

Quote (ChrisKz @ 24 Jul 2016 22:43)
The Khan were just a warring tribe whose culture was based on how strong they were and how much they fought. To describe them is to reach a similar definition as to the vikings, just that they raided the East instead of the West. The only good feats of the Khan's are those of military merit, they had many good generals during their warring periods. Nothing else to be heard of them.

...specifically while trying to insult someone over picking the name Kublai Khan, who established a Chinese dynasty that lasted for about a century.

Also, I didn't have to google shit. My bachelor's is in history. I didn't have a focus on Asia, but I had to take a few classes in that focus anyway and already knew of the Yuan Dynasty by the more common Western name of the Mongolian Dynasty, which again, is so common that it was in Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure.

As to the fact that you've never heard of Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure, you have truly missed out on one of Western culture's great works of art and should be ashamed of yourself. :(
