If you would actually listen to his music you would find he has plenty of songs with good stories. Yea, there are better rappers but if you going to down play him you should probably know what you are talking about first.
I can definitely spit at least half a dozen Eminem tracks word for word without batting an eye tbh, and have listened to a fair few of his albums. I'm not saying he's trash by any stretch, I just think that he gets well overpraised and isn't quite in the top tier of straight up legends.
