Still got this tracked for those that seriously want some friendly non-biased advice.






I don't think he claims to know everything, although some people on here might have. James is a bit older than the average JSP'er, and I am a bit older than he is.

Some of us have been through difficult times in our lives and have the ability to just give honest advice to those that actually need it based on the experiences we have lived through thus far... I see absolutely no harm in this, and who knows, perhaps someone might even benefit from advice.

It's a double edged sword, because this is the internet, trolls are everywhere, especially in general spam chat, so of course it's going to get flooded with childish posts because that happens to almost every topic in here.



At the end of the day, if you are seeking honest advice, this is one place for you to ask and hopefully get an honest unbiased opinion. That alone may benefit people, so it's worth it to me to keep this tracked.

I swear to god I am not trying to troll or spam..

But I do think it's funny that mods on jsp think that they are some sort of life guru's that know more about everything in life than us lowly members.

But I think Jame's is older, so he probably does know a thing or two.

Just saying, I bet there isn't a mod on jsp that could beat me on a propulsion physics exam. So at least I've one upped them there.

Hi, I don't know what to with my life
School is expensive and I don't know if I want to continue for the last two years.
I chose business as my major since I 'had' to choose but it isn't something that I'm passionate about.
I don't know what I like to do and I don't know what I'm going to do after college (if I finish and get my degree).

It doesn't help that I have no friends.
And of course I've talked to people in my classes, but it does not go far.
We just talk about school work and they have their own friends already.

People say to 'go out' and stuff.
I find that extremely annoying since I can't just 'go out' with myself and eat at a restaurant alone or go to the movies alone, for example.

When people say go out, they mean a bar/club/party.

Try raising the bar a little and just simply asking someone to hang out. Don't wait for the world to come to you, but instead take charge of what you want.

If they say no, then at least you tried. You might be surprised how many people will say yes if you put an honest effort in asking.

As far as whether or not to stay in school, that's really up to you and how you feel about it, if you enjoy it, then stick with it even though it's difficult and costly, it should pay itself back someday.






Neither am I, but you don't see me being a troll about it. Then again I have quite a few years on you.
