little use for a grass type. Fighting/Electric take care of water and Rock for you so you're good there, and grass is far too slow to be useful in most situations.
grass has huge potential
first off electric is good against only water (and birds but fuck in the first pokemons theres like 3 bird pokemon), and fighting pokemon suck
with a grass pokemon youre good against 2 hugely common types and razor leaf is not only strong but it never fucking misses.
and like i said, blastoise is not THAT much better than gyarados (in fact i might argue not better at all) and who the fuck bought the blue version; we all know arcanine is a fucking monster.
my lineup would be:
venasaur
alakazam (or mewtoo if you count him ofc)
arcanine
pidgeot (or zapdos if were counting legendary)
gyarados
gengar
