I see what you mean. A well played math troll. I don't know, I'd interpret it as (6/2)*(1+2), but I can't actually think of a rule that says I should when it's written like that.

What's even sadder is most of the kids who get it wrong are ugly.. they don't have smarts or looks, nothings going for them

the answer is 9..... order of operations (1+2) =3 6/2 = 3 THEN 3/3 = 1 damn idiots saying 9

There isn't one, and his calc teacher should have his teaching license revoked. There's only one way to interpret this equation.
