What superman can and cant do changes in every movie / comic. Thats why some say he cant be hurt period etc. etc.
Goku's story and ablities dont change...If that was the case Superman woulda " alter'd time " and falcon punched the dude who kicked his ass once already.

He wouldnt be alive. As soon as the fight is started goku doesnt exist.
