It's 9 when you use bedmas.
Go ask your teacher instead of using a program that he uses

First off, we must follow PEMDAS

Parenthesis
Exponentials
Multiplication
Division
Addition
Subtraction

Therefore, we start out with the parenthesis

6÷2(2+1)

(2+1) = 3

6÷2(3)

Then multiplication

2(3) = 6

6÷6

Then division

I don't know what bedmas is, really. We don't use that (or maybe we do, but we don't call it bedmas). And if I ask my teacher about this, he will most likely laugh at me and lower my grade severely.
