The Khan were just a warring tribe whose culture was based on how strong they were and how much they fought. To describe them is to reach a similar definition as to the vikings, just that they raided the East instead of the West. The only good feats of the Khan's are those of military merit, they had many good generals during their warring periods. Nothing else to be heard of them.

edit: I'm pretty sure I read a historical fiction piece of Kublai... Wasn't he referred to as a scholar? In the story I read he used his scholarly achievements to be crafty during battles... How is this different form the rest of his kind?
