scotland voted to stay in, but england pulled us out by having a majority by population.

we want to hold on and see what happens to england after the leave, if it goes tits up, we always have the golden card now to say "fuck those guys, we wanted to stay in anyway"

this is interesting because scotland declined independence from england based on stability and position within the EU, but a year later on the EU referendum we get those things removed anyway... so we are now kinda hoping to break off from this mess at last.
