You'd need to uninstall a few updates to get rid of that sir. :D ;) XD

However, I am not sure which ones. Perhaps a research on google would tell you. :D ;) XD!

This is good advice! I would listen to this man! :D ;) XD

My friend Mr. Disturb knows a lot about these things! :D ;) XD

No. Again, the proper solution is in the second post in this thread.

I do like the clemency for pirates part.

I mean, it's obviously because they can sink their hooks even deeper into you and make even more money off of your personal data, but those are issues of scope, not novelty. :P

"Wahhh, there's a tiny icon in the corner of my screen and I don't want to actually do anything about it, I guess I'll just flame an operating system that no one here is personally invested in so that I can mask my pain."

It's hardly the tiny icon, it's the fact it's installed the fucking thing onto people's computers (twice so far in my case) without permission, among the huge popups that keep trying to force you into installing it.

they should release something called:

Windows XP 2017.

it would sell way more than any windows OS so far.

I hated 8.1. I did the free upgrade to windows 10 and haven't looked back. I don't like windows 10 either but I will say I think it has the best start menu and taskbar out of any windows.

The worst part about windows 10 in my opinion is the injustice that exists in the new terms of use policy by Microsoft. It gives them way too much control. You basically have to waive most of your privacy rights if you want to use windows 10. Microsoft wants to own and access your data and activities much in the same way that Facebook and Google does. Microsoft has fundamentally changed their business model with windows 10 and its not in the interest of the consumers. You become the product in windows 10.

No idea why people are this ridiculously resistant. There are no objections to Windows 10 that aren't true of other versions of Windows anyway. If you don't like it, download Linux and just quit whining.

yeah but if i did agree to upgrade most of my drivers are probably outdated and heard microsoft will make me pay to have them install the proper compatible hardware.

Then cry more because you want to use a specific operating system that belongs to the company and not you.

Yeah, but in my experience, this doesn't cover most of the whining.

The whining is because it is an unwarranted upgrade. People will get the new version when they are ready.

This is the main point for microsoft to get everyone onto 10, the new software models are going to be cloud-based in general. And while that is a pretty cool thing, it means they force you into monthly subscriptions for all your software - which results in much higher software costs every year.
