naw, I learned it.. I'm just not dumb enough to believe it perfectly

these kids thing because there are brackets around the (3) that you have to multiply... brackets are only for things inside..

I never got taught it like that.

Just that multiplication and division are done before addition and subtraction.
Anything in parenthesis is done first, and then you expand the bracket.
