It's 9. Think of it like this (6/2)(1+2) which = 9.

If it = 1, it would have to look like (6/(2(1+2)) which = 1 of course.

division and multiplication are equally important so the convention to go from left to right

meaning we do 6 / 2 first and then multiply by 3

3 * 3

which is 9

(1.) Parenthesis First: (1+2)=
