6÷2(1+2)=??

division and multiplication are equally important so the convention to go from left to right

meaning we do 6 / 2 first and then multiply by 3

3 * 3

which is 9

B - Brackets
E - Exponents
D - Division
M - Multiplication
A - Addition
S - Subtraction

6/2(1+2) can also be written as (6/2)(1+2) since they are two separate terms. aside from that. theres no wrong or right answer to this. If you follow bedmas though. you would add the 1+2 in the brackets to give:

6/2x3

if you follow bedmas now and do DIVISION FIRST as it shows.

6/2 = 3x3 = 9.
