i read about this a long time ago and might need to be fact checked.

iirc, your body uses calcium to neutralize carbonation. if your diet is rich in calcium, these effects are less severe. if it isn't, calcium is drawn from the bones supply, possibly making them weaker. some shit happens where calcium binds to other shit, passes through kidneys, and forms kidney stones.

Sometimes 2. I guess it's too much even though it's no calories & sugar.
I drink much more water nowadays though and go much more easy on soda now.
