How do you define loneliness since its subjective ? People can be around me and i feel lonely. and what's the time duration for it to count as such?
I might be wrong but in a dissertation you are trying to verify your hypotheses which I can't see in your post

The loneliness is defined as emotional loneliness and social loneliness in this aspect. Emotional loneliness is the needs to interact with others but the individuals cannot interact with others due to certain factors like social skills deficit. Social loneliness is the attachment to the closeness. People who lost a best friend recently may experience social loneliness as the attachment is lost

i played diablo 2 for a long time i only met 2 or 4 nice people, and the rest scum of the internet.

I was lucky that I met some nice people when I play Diablo II
although I also met some rude one

i feel safe alone.

Probably through some kind of widely accepted scale or something idk
