Lower calorie intake
Increase calorie output
Don't eat fat, the fat you eat is the fat you wear.
Don't eat flour (of any kind)
If you want carbs (which you should) eat simple carbs (sweet potatoes, golden potatoes, brown rice)

Doing intervals doesn't help you lose fat.

#1 get heart rate monitor watch (with chest band)
#2 find resting heart heart rate
#3 find your 'fat burning zone' (typically 130-150)

For most people, walking on a treadmill at 1.0 incline (helps with shin splints) at a 4.0 speed will lose more fat than doing sprint intervals.

Interval training is for people who plateau frequently because they are already in great shape to begin with.

Play games, smoke cigs, drink coffee, don't eat unless you feel like you'really about to collapse from starvation. Lost 30 pounds doing this which made me seriously underweight.

To to lose belly fat, you simply need to lose fat. The body decides where to store fat, typically in the belly and butt. So you cant really target the fat in one location of the body. Lose weight, and the fat will disappear on its own.
