means the resistance is strong, basically means it takes alot of volts or amps to push the current through the windings of the taser. If it was battery powered i doubt it was very strong at all, like 15volts 0 amps or so. 1 amp can kill you so they would need to reduce the amperage to at least .009a to make it "safe", which is probably why it has such a high resistance.

a 15v shock still sucks, i run 24v control wires and they still sting when they getchya. my teacher says most people cant tell the difference after about 210v, my 10 thousand volt shock was only minorly worse than sticking a fork in a lightsocket and lightsockets are only 125v
