Day-Month-Year means you go from the shortest period of time to the longest from left to right. It makes so much more sense.

Least to most imo. Month has the lowest number, then days, then years.

FYI, the US military uses DDMMYY, as well.

I disagree with that ordering, but okay.

Day-Month-Year is also organized by the importance of the information. When you look at the date, you're probably looking for the day. Most people know what month it is and everyone except time travelers and people who have just woken up from a coma know what year it is. The day is the most important piece of information, and therefore goes first.

See, the thing is that your logic is only useful if we're talking about this month. If you're talking about any other month, it's worthless to have the number if you don't know what month we're talking about. Knowing that I mean the 13th doesn't matter until you know if I mean June or December.

That's true, but it only applies to my second argument. I still think it makes more sense to have the shortest amount of time first and the longest amount last. It's so neat when it's all sorted and stuff.

You'd need to uninstall a few updates to get rid of that sir. :D ;) XD

However, I am not sure which ones. Perhaps a research on google would tell you. :D ;) XD!
