I wonder what a company like DreamWorks uses to render there movies? like the really nice looking animated ones smooth HD.

They use server rooms... not a single computer.... the original transformers movie took 24 hours per FRAME to render the final edition... just think about that

moore's law will run out... which means that you can future proof when it does... it is estimated that in roughly 5-15 years we will be at atomic computing with no room for shrinkage
