Evolution happens, denying it is just plain ignorant. It does not conflict with Creationism.

The only point of debate is how life got here originally. Creationism and abiogenesis are two theories that attempt to explain this event and both are equally weak imo. Science hasn't come up with an explanation for this that is any more solid than what Creationism has to offer.
