Speaking of multi-player games and the OP, I have been addicted as shit to Borderlands 2 lately.  All of the loot grinding bullshit and skill trees of Diablo with the added deliciousness of shooting people in their God-damned faces.  And of course, amazing writing.


Yeah I like the game and I enjoyed it for a bit but it wasn't really my type so I couldn't stick with it.

Technically a chat with 1000s of people would be an MMO by definition, yes. Not a game, however.
