you've never even seen oldboy or love exposure etc ... pan's labyrinth etc ... these are just the nonsense movies for the mindless.

Actually lately I've seen movies in that class lately.
Etc Cidade de Deus(City of Gods), Memento, There will be blood, The Usual Suspects, The Big Lebowski, Requiem for a Dream, Donnie Darko, El laberinto del fauno(Pan's Labyrinth), Schindler's List, The Silence of the Lambs, The Pianist, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Shutter Island and so on.
Probably some of the titles you had in mind when posting ?

What did you think of Requiem for a Dream?

Didn't quite live up to my expectations.

Things generally went where I expected them to go, and it never really surprised me or made me think the way I'd thought it would.
Still a great flick, but the hype around it really did more harm than good.

It's one of my favourites but I don't think I'll ever have the urge to watch it again in my life. I almost threw up after watching it, not really sure why.

Yeah it's a very powerful story.

Dude, your top 30 are amazing...Fight club and pulp fiction are by far my top too. Se7en was also a sick ass movie. I loved it.
