lactose intolerant is kinda a misnomer

Over 60% of the world can't properly digest milk bc we as mammals are only meant to drink it as infants.

Beyond that age tho most of the world discontinues the drinking of milk and people only retain they're tolerance if they continue to drink it regularly.

So yeah tl:dr version

Lactose intolerance is in fact normal.

Lactose tolerance persisting is actually the abnormality.
