if an user is in your block list their forum posts are greyed on the topics list

After adding someone's name to your block list...

It actually prevents other users from posting in your topic?

You block them once and it hides their posts. it doesn't prevent anything server side. You just can't see their posts

That's hardly useful then. Morons will come in, post and I won't see it. Then they will recruit all their 10 year old friends to quote the post and flame as well.

And on top of it they will go unpunished and continue forward every chance they get.

by using common sense it should be obvious that something like that is not possible.

i can only manipulate what gets displayed on client side (your browser) and obviously i can't add new logic to the website

you dont have to manually block every post of them. you block a user once and all the post contents by this user will be hidden unless you unblock him again

i dont see the point u dont see his post
but other people can see their post right?
