and in business and psychology, using scales from reputed journals is common practice in case we clearly reference it.
I do science in my bachelor degree, the ways we do research in science is a bit different compared to business and psychology.

In the science world, we aims to find new finding like in biology. new DNA coding, new genotpye, how new genotype affects phenotypes.
In psychology and business, we can do descriptive research. Based on existing scale and evaluate the new relationship
