well there is the upbringing that has carried on for years so i do understand where you came from with this. it's a touchy subject and words can get mixed around easily but i'm just gonna go full blast.
families have been born and raised into the welfare life and that's really all that they know as far as how to get by in life. (this is all different races btw)
it's not about the race it's about the upbringing.
I agree, it is about the upbringing. One bad upbringing leads to the next. Some whites have bad upbringings, some blacks have bad upbringings.
Here's the kicker, though. There was a time where quite actually EVERY black person's upbringing was terrible. Some have been able to succeed, but many are stuck in the cycle.
Whites people may occasionally have bad upbringings, and those upbringings may propagate, but they were never at a point where their entire ethnic group was in a terrible upbringing.

yes! i don't believe that every person has the same chance at being successful though.
does the above change this opinion at all? if race is even a slight player in your odds of being successful, which I feel this is a clear argument of, then I would hope your opinion is changed.
