Had one room mate who became an alcoholic and went 3 months behind almost putting me in the street.
His work was on and off and at times he didn't get paid for a month or two but he straight up lied to me this time.
Was stealing shit from house to pawn for booze and fell into Scientology and kept paying for their courses.

10 year friendship ruined, never again.

Had similar roommates...some people cant be taught at that point. You should set some basic ground rules though if theyre pissing you off

I've tried ground rules. They don't last long. I have about 11 months left on the lease. When it's close to over I'm going to find a studio apt in a decent area. Until then it's going to drive me crazy I guess.

Yeah it's going to be tough no matter what but continuously assert yourself and dont be a wimp if there are some things which you cannot take...otherwise i wish you the best
