To say things like "nobody cares" when somebody is sharing something that they are excited about is demoralizing.

lol what? a doctorate in business is definitely not a joke and involves an insane amount of qualitative analysis combined with quantitative that other doctorates do not require. It's actually a pretty intense program.

Regarding the MBA teaching thing. Eh, you can teach at a small college with that as an assistant professor but really not much more.

I intend to teach but not until i'm in my 50s, and not for the money.

I'm mainly getting my doctorate for the experience of getting a doctorate, for networking with really smart professionals around the dc/maryland/virginia area, and just as a personal achievement for myself. I like school.

I don't understand what type of job are you interviewing for? Like wall street stuff that you get played liked 100000 a month? Or being at.the.top management of a big business?
