that's exactly what i'm going for now. i know that i can't fully change her but i can be there for her as a friend and at least show her that she is a good person with a lot more to offer than her body.

As long as she's using protection and not putting herself in danger.... then it's really not your business to make her stop. That's her mama's job. You can advise her as a friend, but ultimately there's not much you can do to stop her or help her besides make sure she has a place to stay if her home life goes south.
don't get me wrong Thor! i'm not trying to stop her from having sex at all! that's her business but i do want to influence her from putting herself out there as easy. i can see she's still dealing with it in her own way but i'm still there to keep her head held high through it.
