This is pretty much exactly correct.

A really good trick is to line your eyes up with their side mirror, then just jack the wheel all the way and start turning the other way as soon as your bumper's clear enough. Works most every time.

For some reason, our driver's education teacher insisted we'd never parallel park so we didn't have to learn.

I know how, but that dickhead taught us nothing.

also if you do it enough times it gets really easy to do cuz you had the practice! :)

same here when i took the driving test and i think it's cuz once you get used to driving, parallel parking isn't that hard to do! :)
