He has a point that it's just a theory. Theory crafting on the size or shape of the universe is based on the observable universe, which is limited. Maybe it goes on forever, maybe there is an end? nobody knows yet.

This might give an idea of what part of the universe looks like... (really needs to be watched full screen in HD)
