I did just look up something from a lawyer answering a similar question that says that if they try to push the lunch break over an hour, you should be paid like a split shift instead of like you had a lunch in the middle of your shift, entitling you to an extra hour of pay for the shift splitting depending on your wage. It might at least be worth finding a lawyer that gives free consultations who can give you more specifics to your situation tho.

i worked at wal mart as overnight stocker when i was younger for about 10 months

you cant go over 40 hours a week

they have set schedules like 10pm lunch at 2 am to 3 am 7 am

its your responsibility to stay under 40 hours each week and if a management member asks if you would take a short lunch on a busy night you have the right to tell them no. ( yah ur a fck boy if you tell them no )


when i worked there going over 8 hours a day is not overtime but if you go over 40 hours in a week it would be


wal mart pays good wage for entry level job

think i started off at 10.50 and moved up after 6 months
