company is trying to save money, people think they should get paid well for entry level jobs.

10$/hr is more than enougn to get by when you're a kid with no other expenses/responsibilities - if you're an adult and working at someplace like that you best try to work your way up to manager or something to make it liveable, otherwise find a different gig.
