Full suspension or not, I've learned the biggest factor for use is geometry of the frame, namely head angle, and the tires really make the most difference, the Giant Trance is a real nice trail bike.
I'd pass on the 27.5 , the tires and wheel selection is still a wee dodgey, I'd stick to 26 or 29. iirc, your a tal guy, you should roll a 29'er, they really are all that and a bag of fun.
ya 500 for a hardtail... ez
i coulda got a giant ac for 450. and full suspension is always more than a hardtail.
i should jsut get a hard tail cuz im mostly riding in city on path
