We share a common ancestor with monkeys, we didn't evolve from them.

Evolution is a fact. It's been observed multiple times in nature.

However the origin of the human race due to evolution is still a theory yes, they are two different things and you are considering them as one.

something that some scientists and lots of other people think may have happened.

but they aren't sure enough to assert it as a fact, unlike scaly.

they say it 'might as well be a fact' but really its a theory because they cant come up with enough proof.
