I suggest you look up the definition of both MMO and MMORPG, and maybe realize that no Diablo game appears on any official MMO list.

its an online ARPG where clearly the online aspect is dominate, the only thing not making technically an MMO is the fact that you make/join games... but if you look at the what MMO actually fucking stands for its extremely debatable that in fact a MMO

Yeah, that's pretty much the sticking point here. It's a multi-player online game, but not a Massively Multiplayer Online game.

Speaking of multi-player games and the OP, I have been addicted as shit to Borderlands 2 lately. All of the loot grinding bullshit and skill trees of Diablo with the added deliciousness of shooting people in their God-damned faces. And of course, amazing writing.
