Springfield Armory for their polymer pistols (XD line).
Kimber for their sexy 1911's.
And for rifles, I'd probably say Ruger.

LOL wtfk, semiautos are illegal where you live? That sucks. Which protectionist country do you live in exactly?

the 1911 is a damn good pistol not sure y the hell we switched to using 9mm's

don't get me wrong the 9mm will kill a man but the 45 does it so much better

One where we had multiple massacres involving semi automatic weapons before putting in the laws, and 0 since.

lol que?

The 1911 has nothing to do with bullet size.
1911 is merely the gun design; they can come in 9mm also.

Ah, just as I expected a "cop" would say.

Lower massacres =/= lower crime. Your problem simply transitioned from being high-impact/low-frequency events to low-impact/high-frequency ones. People who want to commit crimes can still commit crimes, much like what happened in the 2011 London riots.

Btw, aren't you an anarchist?

I guess that sorta makes sense...

But 1911's have been chambered in 9mm parabellum and .40s&w for a looong time already.

No longer a police officer, and i am against gun control, it is a fact however that we havnt had a mass killing since gun control and we had several in the few years preceding it.

Well again, "mass killings" give the illusion that there is high crime because those are high-impact events, as opposed to a similar number of people being killed in different locales across a longer time span.

So unless you can provide something that's more concrete than your anecdotal testimony, I'm just going to have to point you towards the well-documented examples in recent history that show banning firearms doesn't equate to a lower crime rate.

Plus, just because you flipped 'heads' on a coin 10 times in a row, doesn't mean that it's always going to be heads. It's only a matter of time before some wacko runs into your local town hall with a bomb strapped to his/her chest.

In my country criminals generally kill other criminals, spree killers kill innocent people, i dont care if the crime rate rises if the victims are thieves, drug dealers and murderers.
And we banned most dangerous guns in 1990 or so, its been a while.
