Yeah. You're right. I did contradict myself. Satanism can be considered a religion. But definitely not in the sense of being a deistic religion. It is unquestionably an atheist religion. Which is why I hesitate to use the term 'religion' to describe it. It is not based on Gods or Demons or ghosts and ghouls. It has no connections to spirits or souls or supernatural entities or concepts. It is about what we can see, hear, feel and prove to exist. It's why I see it as a philosophy and not a religion.
e/ Atheism is the theory that best fits the evidence presented to me. When such evidence is presented to me that I should logically change my beliefs I shall do so.
my main point was just militant atheism. I dislike the idea of imposing anything on anyone. I have no problem with ordinary atheists.
