the movie itself sucked;

once again too many cooks in the kitchen as Fantastic 4 had the same problem with WB executives; the first 30mins or so of the movie is massively re-edited etc

I mean why hire bunch of << newly talented directors >> if you are going to re-shoot/re-edit their movies?

Where was the tone of this movie, was it supposed to be light hearted/dark?

Jared Leto was a good, mature Joker. Followed the comics imaging of the villian as a more mature, reserved, yet still fucking insane mobster. Which was really cool to see. He was almost creepy. But I loved it.

7/10
IMDb
26%
Rotten Tomatoes

40%
metacritic

Rotten Tomatoes has actually, itself, become a piece of shit. Not being biased towards the movie, the credibility of that website fell so far around 2014 for some reason. I trust IMDB about a thousand percent more than RT and MC.
I normally have pretty easy taste when it comes to movies. Im easily enthralled and I really liked that movie.
I think the issue was that with the new stylings of the Joker and adding in all of the "underdog" villains that not a lot of people had heard of, people went in to the movie wanting to dislike it.
