Thanks, can anyone else answer this for some more perspective? I only asked two people in his family, and they agreed. And my other best friend, and he agreed with me. But they're biased, but I still think I didn't do anything wrong.

Mate your actions were fine, letting someone drive on benzo is crazy and if he sold/helped get him addicted to it again? but friend isn't coming back and need to think about yourself now, take some wrong blame if you have to just try to calm everyone down lots of people hurting

You can point fingers all you want, but at the end of the day, his friend had a disease, and his disease killed him. You can't live people's lives for them. You can only offer advice, and be there to help pick them up when they fall.
