Since when is depression interesting?
If my life was this super exciting wonderland i wouldn't wake up feeling nothing every day.
I feel like this generation has been raised with so much stimulation they forget how boring and mundane day to day life truly is once you start to adult.
They are discussing high speed rail to sydney right now.
I haven't followed this exchange at all except the last two posts, so I apologize profusely if this ends up coming out wrong because of context, but I actually think that really talking about and looking at the mechanisms of someone doing their best to work on their depression, or at least trying to navigate through it, can be pretty fucking interesting stuff. It's very subjective and yet nigh-unto universal at the same time in so many different ways, there's a lot to understand, even if it's pretty boring from your own point of view.
Having those feelings and being stuck is very commonplace and uninteresting. Being brave enough to actually open up about it and give people a glimpse of what it's like from the inside the best that you can, on the other hand, can be downright fascinatin.
