You run a mucher high risk of being stabbed or shot to death, or being hunted later by the person and their friends. Small incidents like this can escalate into acts vengeance - you will get blindsided. Assuming you dont get killed, you probably have to get arrested and deal with police and court system while you try to prove your innocence. You will also have injuries. It's not worth dying for. It's not even worth going to jail / court for. I can think of a lot better paths to take.
