I can't get into detail to why, because that would be spoiling the movie, but the "fight club" itself is just a small part of the movie plot and you're missing out on one of the greatest movies ever made :P

Law Abiding Citizen is another classic one with tons of action and a HUGE plot twist towards the end, somewhat similar with the whole focus on prison
