Honestly, it's way more common than you think and I'm pretty sure that you do it because you're a really thoughtful dude who's smarter than he looks and who really cares about his friends and doesn't want to hurt anyone's feelings, even though of course sometimes you do hurt people's feelings because you're a human being and we all do.

Just remember that inaction is an action too!
