Melatonin is not recreational, you're not supposed to feel it.

And you only need like 0.3 mg (that's zero point three) usually. Work your way up by micrograms.

Melatonin isn't available without prescription in the UK. I have 5HTP pills from a high street drug store, which is a precursor to melatonin. I take it when I want a good deep sleep, it doesn't make me feel more tired though.

I have to get up at different times for work so I take 5mg when I'm off my normal sleep schedule.
