had the wire come up as a recommended show to watch several times over the years though i've never really sat down to watch it - tempting tho

Yeah I dont get the hype for the Wire

It's super hard to get into tbh, and almost impossible to watch while you're doing other shit. Need to watch at least like 4-5 episodes before you've got any idea what you're watching and how it differs from Law and Order.
