No. This is based on orcs vs humans the first war (first game) Nothing from reign of chaos occurred in the movie.

Reign of chaos revolves around the resurrected medivh posing as the prophet to unite the races against the incoming threat (battle for mount hyjal)
As well as laying the ground work for the frozen throne.

A lot of the posts started to blur together while trying to read all the comments on this.

It looks cool enough I guess, but I have little to no interest in watching it personally.

i also heard that it sucked.

only younger fans seemed to like it, that's why I haven't bothered to see it yet.

I seen a couple older people saying how good it was but the majority of what I've seen has been negative.

I went to watch it with 3 other friends, 1 of which played wc1 to wc3 and really loves the game also loved the movie (he's 27 yrs old) and 2 who havent played the game and said the movie was "meh" (20 yr old and 22 yr old)
