I'm not smoking anything. It's just a thing that I have most likely listened more trash metal during last 2 weeks than you have in your life. Can't please average-Joe.

oh i get it, he typo'd tHrash

yes they are thrash metal and pioneers of the genre. they took what was considered metal/heavy metal designed by sabbath and turned it into some real heavy stuff

to me decline was after black album...they came more pop-ish with that one and began to sell out yes. but that album was still good. all other ones after were junk IMO yes.

I used to think these bands were really cool. Turning 12 years old really changed me though.

i feel like james was lyrically at his peak during load/reload. otherwise the albums were definitely on the weak side except for a few gems like the outlaw torn.

In 2003 it seemed like all the cool kids listened to Metallica, so obviously I had to listen to it as well.
Now I'm like... cool cool, that's some nice yelling and some nice power-chords-on-every-eighth, but I'd like me some chord schemes that make sense and some singers that can sustain a note without effort.

I listen to pretty much any kind of music, just as long as it:
- is actually proper music
- is somewhat original (i.e. doesn't immediately make me think "Oh, this band sounds exactly like <other band here>"')
- sounds somewhat decent

Most hiphop doesn't live up to those three basic rules.
